IFA launches ‘refer a friend’ competition

THE Irish Farmers Association (IFA) has launched a competition, where if an existing IFA member refers a friend who goes on to join the association, both the member and their friend will be entered into a draw to win a number of prizes.
The prizes are a brand-new Toyota Hilux, a €2,000 FBD Insurance voucher and a one-year subscription to the Irish Farmers Journal, which includes print and digital access. Participants will also have the opportunity to win one of eight annual print and digital subscriptions to the Irish Farmers Journal each month.
Speaking about the competition, IFA Carlow county chair Michael Purcell said: ‘‘This competition is a great opportunity for our members to showcase the strength of our association and the many benefits of being part of the IFA. IFA has maintained a membership base of more than 1,540 in voluntary members in Carlow through its constant representation of farmers across all sectors, the supports it provides and its comprehensive membership benefits package.”
Michael also said that this new initiative is a way for existing members to help attract new members to the association to strengthen the collective voice of farmers.
