House ransacked in Old Leighlin, Co Carlow

GARDAÍ are appealing for witnesses after a house was ransacked while its owners were away on the morning of 16 July. The burglary occurred in the area of The Ridge in Old Leighlin, between 9am and 2.30pm. The perpetrators broke into the unoccupied house and ransacked it, stealing cash and jewellery.
