Irish country singer Michael English surprises Jamie on his 16th birthday in Castlerea Community School.
There was plenty of excitement in Castlerea Community School yesterday when Irish country singer Michael English made a special visit to wish a young fan a happy 16th birthday.
Young Jamie was gobsmacked when the singer walked into the classroom while singing 'Happy Birthday'. It was a very touching gesture by Michael whose kindness struck a chord with all those present, not least the birthday boy!
Posting a message on social media, the musician said: "Delighted to call into Castlerea Community School to surprise Jamie who celebrates his 16th birthday! Jamie has always been a big fan of ours. Thanks to all the teachers & staff for their great welcome and hospitality."
