“People must have seen what happened, because it occurred close to 11am in a housing estate,” said Sergeant Conor Egan. “No-one was seriously injured, fortunately. It could have been a lot worse, given that there were weapons used.” Carlow Detective Unit are investigating this incident and are appealing to anyone in the Tommy Murphy Park area who may have witnessed this incident to contact them confidentially on 059 9136620.
