Gardaí begin the search for recruits

AN Garda Síochána is currently running a recruitment drive and will host a series of information sessions about what the job entails and how to apply for a position.

The garda trainee competition for 2025 will be open until 3pm on 27 February and in Co Carlow the local force is hosting five information sessions for the public.

The first meeting is taking place this Thursday, 20 February, in Carlow Library at 6pm, while there’s another meeting the following day, Friday, in Carlow Garda Station at 7pm.

There will be two sessions on Monday 24 February – in Borris Library at 11am and Tullow Library at 2pm. A final information session will take place in Bagenalstown Library at 11.30pm. Applications and further details are available at www.publicjobs.ie
