School principal Ruth Ní Chearbhalláin welcomed everyone and thanked all the muinteoirí in each of the various classes, who had worked so diligently with the children, to ensure a very enjoyable and memorable carol service for all.

Children from each class in the school were featured at the carol service, each with their own wonderful Christmas hymns, while the honour of staging the nativity this year fell to M Noirín’s rang a dó, who did a wonderful job.

The school’s talented musicians also formed a wonderful orchestra that accompanied all of the singing, while children participated in all of the readings and the narration during the carol service.

The enjoyable night certainly set the scene for the Christmas festivities, with a warm Nollaig Shona offered to all.
