Carlow singing group Encore a hit at Electric Picnic

AN all-female group of singers and musicians from Carlow were thrilled to perform at Electric Picnic this year, not once but twice.
Encore Vocal Group performed not only on the Survivors stage on the afternoon of the Saturday of EP but also later that evening on the Croí Realign stage to a big crowd of festival goers.
The set performed on the Survivors stage by the group was called â a sing-a-long to Irish classics such as by Sinead O'Connor and Runaway by The Corrs. The set even featured a pop medley of songs by Boyzone, Six, Samantha Mumba and â a throwback to Italia Í90.
Encore Vocal Group is an all-female, multi-genre vocal harmony group from Carlow made up of 12 singers and musicians. They bring together big harmonies, live instruments and a love of all things music, from pop, rock and Irish folk to musical theatre and gospel. Since forming in 2020, they have supported artists including Ye Vagabonds, BIIRD, John Francis Flynn and Charlie McGettigan.
