Eileen Canavan (née O’Neill)
21 St Patrick’s Avenue, Carlow, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on August 22nd, 2024, at The Sacred Heart Hospital, Carlow.
Beloved mother of Edward and Lisa, much loved Grandmother of Colin, Zach, Lochlann, Rowan and Jacob and cherished sister of Joseph, Martin, Peter, Esther, Anne Marie, Gerry and the late Richie, Pat, Ned and Breda.
She will be sadly missed by her loving son, daughter, grandchildren, son-in-law Colin, daughter-in-law Paula, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
May Eileen’s Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.
Reposing at her home, 21 St Patrick’s Avenue, Carlow (Eircode R93 W8C1), on Friday, August 23rd, from 3pm, concluding with Prayers at 7pm that evening. Removal from there on Saturday at 10.30am to Holy Family Church, Askea, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.

Joseph (Joe) HYLAND
Kelly's Corner House, Burrin Street, Carlow Town, Carlow Joe passed away peacefully in the gentle care of Beechwood Nursing Home, Leighlinbridge on 21st August 2024 in his 89th year. Predeceased by his sister Judy Byrne and brother Tom Kelly. Cherished uncle of Fergal, Angela and Adrian. Joe will always be lovingly remembered by his grand-nieces, grand-nephews, the Hyland family, neighbours and his close friends and former patrons of Dunkirk.
May Joe Rest in Peace.
Reposing in R Healy & Son Funeral Home, Pollerton Castle, Carlow on Friday evening from 5pm to 7pm. A celebration of Joe’s life will take place in the funeral home on Saturday morning at 11am followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

28 Oakley Park, Graiguecullen and formerly of London, England and Cloughna, Milford, Carlow, passed away peacefully, on August 20th, 2024, at The Sacred Heart Hospital, Carlow.
Beloved mother of Sharon, Angela and Mandy, much loved grandmother of Kerry, Ryan, Andrew and Millie, treasured great-grandmother of Leo, Lenny and Pearl and cherished sister of Kathleen predeceased by her brothers Paddy, Seamus and sisters Rose, Vera and Bridie.
Predeceased by her loving husband Albert.
She will be sadly missed by her loving daughters and their father John, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Ian and Richard, sister, sister-in-law Breda, nephews and nieces, especially Bridget and Jimmy, relatives and friends.
