Esther Dowling
Nurney, Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow, passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, July 30th, 2024, in the tender care of the staff of The Sacred Heart Hospital, Co. Carlow. Predeceased by her brothers James (Jim), Paddy and Ger, her sisters Betty, Mary and Agnes. Esther will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her brother Ted, sister Rita and sister-in-law Betty, nieces, nephews, extended family and her friends from St. Lazerian’s House, Bagenalstown and The Sacred Heart Hospital, Carlow.
May Esther Rest in Peace Reposing at Our Lady’s Chapel, St. Andew’s Church, Bagenalstown, on Thursday, 31st July, from 3pm until 8pm. Removal from St. Andrew’s Church on Friday, 2nd August, to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Newtown, for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Newtown Cemetery.
