The School House, Ardattin, Co. Carlow and formerly of Clonskeagh, Dublin – 24th August 2024 peacefully after a short illness at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny surrounded by his loving family. Sadly missed by his loving wife Eileen, children Emily, Pauline and James, daughter-in-law Jennifer, sisters Cecily (Dublin) and Geraldine (Tasmania), brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, his much loved grandchildren, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and many friends; predeceased by his parents Pauline and James and brothers Declan and Richard.

Reposing at Halligan’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Tullow (formerly Byrne’s Funeral Home) Eircode R93 TX99 on Tuesday evening, 27th August from 5pm concluding at 8pm. Funeral Home private thereafter please. Funeral arriving to The Church of The Immaculate Conception, Ardattin on Wednesday morning for 11am Requiem Mass after which he will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.

Athy Road, Carlow, August 24th 2024 peacefully in the exceptional care of St. Francis Hospice, Raheny and previously cared for by The Mater Hospital, Dublin. Predeceased by his father Jim. Sadly missed by his brother Peter, sister-in-law Kita, his nephews Jack and Jim and their partners, grand-nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and his circle of friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing in R. Healy & Son Funeral Home, Pollerton Castle, Carlow on Wednesday evening (Aug 28th) from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 10am in the Cathedral of the Assumption. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Ballinabranna, Bilboa, Carlow, August 24th 2024 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Frances, father of the late Philip and Raymond and brother of the late Annie. Sadly missed by his loving son Alan, daughter Lorraine, brother Willie, sister Tilly, son-in-law Nigel, daughters-in-law Suzanne and Muriel, grandchildren Raissa, Kelsey, Agetha, Ambriel, Quentin, Andrew, Stephen, Ben, Noah, Dylan, Jamie and Megan, brother-in-law John, sisters-in-law Yvonne and Marian, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing on Tuesday (August 27th) at the home of his daughter Lorraine (R93 PW28) from 2.30pm concluding with prayers at 8.30pm. Funeral Service on Wednesday at 2.30pm in St. John the Evangelist Church, Cloydagh, Carlow (R93 T953). Burial afterwards in adjoining churchyard.
