46 Avondale Drive, Hanover and formerly St Mary’s Park, Carlow, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on September 11th, 2024, at St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny.
Beloved husband of Margaret (Peggy), much loved father of Ann, Tina, Catherine and Tom and cherished brother of Mickey, Paddy and the late Dick, Seanie and Kathleen.
Tom will be sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughters, his 8 grandchildren and 12 Great-grandchildren, son-in-law Dean Quinn, daughter-in-law Michelle Begley, brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
May Tom’s Gentle Soul Rest in Peace Reposing at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq, Carlow (Eircode R93 C863) on Thursday, September 12th, from 2pm until 8pm, with Prayers at 6.45pm that evening. Funeral Mass on Friday at 10am in The Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow and will be followed by burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to St Clare’s Hospitality Kitchen.

Mary Carmel Murphy
(Keatingstown, Kilkenny and late of Ballymurphy, Carlow) 9th September 2024 following a short illness at St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny. Beloved wife of Michael and loving mother of Michael, Martin, Pat and Brian. She will be sadly missed by her husband, sons, brother John, sister Kitty, daughter-in-law Tricia, grandchildren Tadgh and Roisin, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her parents Tom and Kathleen, sister Elizabeth (Bessy) and brother Michael.
May Mary Rest in Peace Reposing at her home (R95 TD70) from 5p.m. on Wednesday (11th September) concluding with Vigil Prayers and Rosary at 7p.m. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 11a.m. in St. Canice's Church followed by interment in Foulkstown Cemetery.

Alan Thomas
Late of Carlow and formerly of Tullamore, Co. Offaly and the Trinity and Neptune Rowing Clubs, passed away peacefully on 9th September, 2024, in the wonderful care of Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Pauline, much loved Dad of Sam, Hannah and Emma, adored Grandad of Holly, Sophie and Bobby, lovingly remembered by his mother-in-law Ann, sons-in-law Billy and Melchor, Sam’s partner Neyva, brother Roger, sisters-in-law Tanya and Mary, nieces, nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends. Predeceased by his parents Heather and Michael, brother Barry and sister Maeve.
Reposing in Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Thursday (12th September) from 4.00pm-6.00pm. Funeral Service on Friday (13th September) at 11.00am in Christ Church, Bray followed by committal in Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6W. No flowers please.
