Class of 1994 relive the good old days at Tullow CS reunion

The Tullow Community School leaving cert class of 1994 met up in Carlow's Carpe Diem bar to celebrate their 30th reunion
CARPE Diem was the venue for the get-together of Tullow Community School leaving cert class of 1994 as they gathered together to catch up and relive those glory days.

It had been ten years since this motley crew all met in Tullow for their 20th reunion and as time keeps ticking away the need to reconnect keeps getting stronger. People from all over the country, as well as some from overseas, arrived to greet one another and take time to enjoy some drinks and tell some stories.
There was plenty of ‘great to see you’ and ‘you haven’t changed a bit’ being exchanged as they all enjoyed the chance to see old friends, some of whom hadn’t changed a bit since 1994!

“As we all caught up, we took time to share memories of great moments and recalled anecdotes of fun teachers, pranks played and good times,” said Woody Kane, one of the organisers of the reunion. “We may not have seen each other for a while, but to stand and watch how comfortable everyone was … it felt like we were back in the canteen during lunch break chatting about what class we were going to be late for.
“Phone numbers were exchanged and further nights out arranged, as well as a golf game or two to come. The chance to meet old friends is always precious and none more

than those you make at school.
“It was so great to see everyone again, and even those that could only stay a short while added so much to the night. Overall, a super success and already we are talking about meeting for the 40th,” said Woody.
