Carlow ‘pupfluencer’ runner-up in Petmania competition

Max the Pomsky from Carlow attended the Petmania Ruby Heart Awards ceremony in Sullivan’s Taproom, Kilkenny on Monday 15 June where he finished up as runner-up in the Petfluencer category.

Clearly Max is a hit on social media where he has almost 4,500 followers across his Instagram and TikTok accounts at ‘max_thepomsky’. The perky pooch’s socials showcase his daily life from silly moments and dog shows and events to working with brands and promoting pet friendly businesses.

“It was such a wonderful achievement and as his owner I’m so proud,” said his owner, Ann Fitzpatrick.

“The event was a great success with an excellent turnout and a fantastic atmosphere throughout the day. Max enjoyed meeting all of the finalists, supporters and pet lovers from across Ireland.”

Last year, Max was also one of three Carlow finalists in the Nose of Tralee, a nationwide doggie beauty pageant organised by Pet Sitters Ireland.
