Carlow Institute is more then about post leaving cert courses. It provides full-time courses to over 1,000 students at Level 5 and 7 with certification from four different awarding bodies: QQI, City and Guilds, ITEC and CIDESCO. We provide over 70 courses across a wide variety of areas of study, grouped into seven faculties: Animal Science and Natural Science, Business Computing & Hospitality, Creative & Performing Arts, Nursing Health & Sports, Hair & Beauty Services, Engineering Technology & Built Environment, Humanities.
The institute is an amazing state-of-the-art further education college on the Kilkenny Road in Carlow town. This 10,000m2 college is specially designed for further education and is fitted with the latest equipment and technology. Carlow Institute aims to make education as accessible and affordable as possible. Tuition, registration, examination and awarding body costs are all FREE. The cost of PPE, clothing, kits, materials and equipment required for your course are also covered.
