Carlow featured prominently at holiday expo

CARLOW TOURISM was represented at the Holiday World Show in Dublin recently highlighting the diverse attractions and experiences the county has to offer.

Held annually at the RDS, this year’s Holiday World Show attracted thousands of visitors eager to explore holiday destinations, both domestic and international.

Carlow’s strong presence at the event enabled the county to connect with domestic tourists who are actively researching and booking holiday breaks in Ireland, with many expressing interest in the county’s natural beauty, walking routes, gardens, historical sites and outdoor recreation opportunities.

The promotion of Snowdrop Month, an annual celebration of the early blooms that mark the beginning of spring, also caught the attention of many visitors planning trips in February.

“We were delighted to participate in Holiday World Dublin 2025 and to meet so many people who are passionate about exploring Ireland,” said Michael Walsh, chairman of Carlow Tourism.

“The show provided us with an invaluable opportunity to promote the wonderful variety of experiences Carlow has to offer, from our walking trails to the beauty of our gardens during Snowdrop Month.
