A CARLOW DJ Jamles is making massive waves with his debut thumping beats at two top music festivals.
Emerging from Carlow’s vibrant music scene, DJ and producer Jamles is rapidly gaining recognition with his captivating blend of melodic and cinematic techno.

His music catalogue includes originals and remixes found on Spotify, SoundCloud and YouTube, highlighted by recent covers such as Enya’s
and a cover of Sting’s .Jamles added: ‘‘Playing at Tomorrowland and Ultra so early in my career feels surreal. These are dream stages for any artist and to share my sound there was an incredible moment. It’s a huge motivation to keep pushing boundaries and growing.”
Consistency is key to Jamles’s creative output, with plans to release new tracks every month throughout the year, keeping his fans engaged and eager for more. Behind the scenes, exciting collaborations are underway, promising fresh and unique sounds that will continue to define the Obscura project’s signature style.
Jamles’s social media presence, especially on Instagram, reflects a steadily growing fanbase that embraces the Obscura philosophy, which emphasises that music is not just about dancing but about feeling, emotion and connection.
Looking ahead, Jamles said: “Obscura is more than just music; it’s an experience, a vibe that connects people on a deeper level. My goal is to keep evolving the project, surprising fans with new sounds and collaborations that truly move them. The best is yet to come.”
