Out Run Hunger for St. Clare's Hospitality Kitchen

CARLOW’S runners, walkers and joggers are being encouraged to “outrun hunger” to support the vital work of St Clare’s Hospitality Kitchen, Graiguecullen.

The inaugural 5km run takes place in the beautiful environs of Oak Park on Saturday 19 October. Every €2 raised can provide a hot meal for those experiencing food poverty.

Sponsored by Halocare, with Pop Up Races, the Arboretum and Scats Bouncing Castles, it promises to be a fantastic morning for all the family. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking for a leisurely stroll, there’s something for everyone. The Nationalist and KCLR radio are media partners for the event.

Entry is €20 for adults, €5 for under-18s and pensioners. Competitive workmates can enter the Corporate Team of 4 Challenge.

There's t-shirt and medals for all with refreshments at Carlow Rugby Club. Registration is at www.popupraces.ie/race/outrun-hunger-5k-2024-2/
