Bagenalstown family dog stolen by burglars

A family from Bagenalstown are appealing for help in getting their beloved pet back home safely after it was stolen at Sunday.
The white-and-faun terrier, called Bran, was stolen when burglars broke into a shed in Corries, Bagenalstow between 3am and 12noon on Sunday 16 June.
The culprits also took several bags of animal feed as well as two copper cylinders.
A garda spokesperson said that the family are “very anxious to be re-united with Bran, who they’ve had him for 13 years since he was a puppy”.

GARDAÍ are appealing for information about damage that was caused to a playground in Borris village.
They received some information about the damage to the recently-installed playground at the back of the town hall.
A children’s play unit and bench were vandalised on between Wednesday 12 June and Thursday 13 June.

A CAR was burgled and its rear window was smashed when it parked overnight in the car park of Carlow Shopping Centre.
The owner of the car left it there on Sunday 9 June and when she returned to get it on Tuesday 11 June, it had been burgled.
Its rear window was smashed a small amount of coinage was stolen. Gardaí in Carlow Garda Station are investigating and may be contacted on 059 9136620.
