Bagenalstown will be a hive of activity
Muine Bheag Arts is pleased to present COMMUNE - a programme of live events in the Muine Bheag Community Centre from 12 to 18 August. The programme invites artists, community organisers, graduates-in-residence, gardeners, magazine makers, visitors and friends to contribute to an evolving and expanding programme.
COMMUNE takes inspiration from self-organised communities and is based on values of collectivity, exchange and experimentation. The local community centre will act as a shared space to host talks, workshops, performances, screenings and an exhibition of artists’ books.
The programme includes contributions from Bagenalstown Community Gardens, Millie Case, Mollie Donegan, Síofra Egan and Ruby Fitzsimons.
The community centre is on Church Street, Muine Bheag, Co. Carlow, R21 PX68.
