Arson attack on car in Rathvilly housing estate

GARDAÍ are conducting an investigation into an arson attack that occurred in a housing estate in Rathvilly in the early hours of Thursday morning.
A Dacia Duster with a registration from 2025 was found ablaze in Fr Cullen Terrace, Rathvilly at approximately 4.30am on Thursday 19 February.
Members of the gardaí and the fire service attended the scene at the residential address. The blaze was brought under control before further damage was done.
“An Garda Siochána are investigating the circumstances of the incident. Local CCTV footage has been trawled while we’re also carrying out door-to-door inquiries.
