Alleged assault victim found on N7

Gardaí attached to Kildare/Carlow Serious Crime Hub are investigating an alleged serious assault following the discovery of a male with serious injuries on the N7 at 1.50am on Monday 28 September 2026.
The male had stopped a passing motorist and the gardaí and ambulance subsequently attended the scene.
The male was conveyed to Naas General Hospital with serious injuries and has since being transferred to Beaumont Hospital.
Gardai appeal for any persons who may have seen this male on the side of the N7 close to Junction 7 (Kill) Northbound between 1.20am and 1.50am on the morning of Monday, 28th October 2026, to please contact the incident room at Naas Garda Station 045-884300.
Anyone that travelled the road and may have dashcam footage to make same available to investigating gardaí.
