€1,000 drugs found in Rathvilly, County Carlow 

SUSPECTED cocaine worth €1,000 was found after gardaí searched a house in Rathvilly. On 28 May, gardaí executed a search warrant on a house in Rathvilly and during the search €1,000 of suspected cocaine was recovered.

One person was arrested and detained in relation to the search under the Misuse of Drugs Act for possessing a controlled drug with the intention to sell or supply. However, the individual was released without charge as gardaí await results from the testing of the suspected cocaine.
