Wednesday’s show opened with co-host Ben Shephard presenting her with a caterpillar-shaped chocolate cake.

To mark the new chapter, Shephard shared a selection of photos to social media of him chatting and laughing with Deeley

The presenter was back at work on Thursday to present the ITV show after taking a leave of absence following Derek Draper’s death on January 3rd.
