Producer prices for food products increased by 5.1 per cent in the 12 months to April 2025

The supplier is increasing the unit rate of its electricity by 12.75 per cent and the unit rate of its gas by 10.5 per cent.

Irish wind farms saved €748 million on gas, which would have been predominantly imported.

Ireland's electricity prices are 52 per cent higher than the European average.

The reduction will come into effect for over one million customers in November.

There has been a 12.8 per cent decrease in domestic electricity rates and 11.5 per cent decrease in domestic gas rates.
