Gemma Greene (28) of Bunratty Road, Coolock, pleaded guilty to recklessly engaging in conduct in such a manner as to drive in the direction of a garda.

The vehicle drove at the marked patrol car and Gardaí had to take evasive action to avoid being deliberately struck.

Judge Orla Crowe said the accused drove in the most dangerous fashion and that gardaí from Ardee, Dundalk, Swords and members of the Armed Support Unit were all involved in this pursuit.
