A coroner said CCTV footage of the schoolboy leaving his Belfast home in the middle of the night should be shared with the public.

The Belfast schoolboy was found dead in a storm drain in June 2020.

The 14-year-old school boy was found dead in a storm drain after having gone missing in north Belfast.

It has emerged that the technology set to be used to examine CCTV footage linked to the case was only available to police on a trial period.

A coroner has said he wants to hold an inquest into the death of the 14-year-old Belfast schoolboy before the summer.

Pearse Doherty had accused Paschal Donohoe of ‘chickening out’ of a Virgin Media TV debate.

The two men are due to take part in a different debate on Wednesday.

Paschal Donohoe said it would be ‘appropriate’ for details about Brian Stanley’s resignation to be given to the Public Accounts committee.

The Taoiseach said he anticipated that the current IMF managing director would seek a second term.

However, Mr Donohoe said his focus is on his current work in Ireland and Europe.
