Police have appealed for information in relation to the crash in Dungiven on Friday.

Two of the men held in relation to the murder of Constable Robert John McPherson were detained in the Republic of Ireland

A policing operation remains ongoing in Dungiven around the discovery of the device.

‘I want to reassure the community that we are treating these incidents extremely seriously,’ Detective Inspector Wilson said.

It covers attacks on ATMs across Northern Ireland from February to March.
