O’Grady (80) of Rostrevor Court, Mackin Street, Dublin 2 was arrested on January 21st, 2025 on foot of a European Arrest Warrant (EAW) issued by a court in Faro in Portugal

Gardaí were conducting a mandatory intoxicant testing checkpoint in Coolock, Dublin on Saturday when a man was stopped and tested.

Seán Walsh (56), of Douglas, Co Cork, is wanted in the North to face charges of IRA membership

The man has been remanded in custody and will appear before the High Court next month
