A woman whose body was found in her home in Co Waterford last Monday may have lain undiscovered for up to two weeks

It was found at a residential property in Spiddal on Friday evening.

Gardaí have said they are investigating all circumstances surrounding the discovery.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information relating to this incident to come forward.

The Rescue 116 helicopter and Drogheda Coast Guard responded immediately to the incident.
