Minister of State for European Affairs Thomas Byrne urged the EU to ‘stand firm’ in trade talks with the United States.

The Mayo native, who served as a Fine Gael TD from 1977 to 1987, died on Sunday night.

This year 38 State representatives will visit more than 90 cities in 40 countries.
