The decision came during High Court proceedings which saw Mr Burke and members of his family removed by gardai due to disruption.

Mr Burke had sought a temporary injunction against a Disciplinary Appeals Panel reviewing his dismissal from a school.

Mr Burke has been in jail since November for breaches of a court order directing him not to trespass at Wilson’s Hospital School where he worked.

A disciplinary appeals body has temporarily agreed not to take any further steps in reviewing the dismissal of Enoch Burke.
