Closing the case on behalf of the prosecution, senior counsel Anne-Marie Lawlor asked jurors to consider if the complainant had 'come here to tell you a pack of lies, a manufactured, fabricated account of abuse'

The court heard that Patrick Fitzgerald was on bail charged with Gary Carey's attempted murder when he and three other men terrorised a family after breaking into their home. He has 72 previous convictions.

Lubomir Puska Jnr (38) and Marek Puska (36), along with their wives Viera Gaziova (40) and Jozefina Grundzova (32) appeared before the court on Monday, where Ms Justice Caroline Biggs fixed a date of October 7th for sentencing in the case.

The court heard that St Michan's Church's crypt holds mummified remains, including 'the Crusader', which dates back 800 years.

A co-accused man has denied the charges and will stand trial later.
