Two weeks ago the FSAI said there was an ‘extensive’ outbreak of listeriosis and dozens of meals and side dishes were being recalled.

The Food Safety Authority has recalled dozens of ready meals and food products as a precaution.

In a statement, Ballymaguire Foods apologised to customers and confirmed that production would be temporarily suspended at the affected facility.

Nine confirmed cases of listeriosis have been identified, as of Tuesday.
