In dismissing the appeal by Randi Gladstone (42), Judge Brian O’Moore on Thursday pointed out that the appellant’s own legal team had agreed to withdraw Gladstone’s evidence that his mother had described him as being “too friendly and kind”.

Randi Gladstone (41), formerly from Guyana, raped, sexually assaulted and falsely imprisoned a young woman, having only been in Ireland for two weeks.

Randi Gladstone (41), formally from Guyana, has 19 previous convictions from the UK, which include convictions for rape, kidnapping, robbery and false imprisonment
