TDs told the Minister responsible for the Office of Public Works about the need for better flood defences and warnings.

OPW site staff have overseen repairs to the roadway and a new compacted hardcore surface has been applied to the carpark in the last few weeks. 

The agency owns a total of 73 vacant properties, including 19 former Garda stations that have remained empty for more than a decade, and two decentralisation sites that have been vacant since 2007.
