NIE Networks has warned it could take up to 10 days for all properties to be reconnected.

The worst of the storm is expected to hit on Friday morning with winds predicted to reach up to 130kph.

Members of the public are asked not to go outside during the period the red warning is in place and not to make unnecessary journeys during the period of the orange warning.
