The man was found unresponsive in Carrick-on-Suir at approximately 2:30 am.

It is understood that climbing gear belonging to the man was found on the sea cliffs at about 11.30pm on Thursday.

A postmortem examination was carried out at Cork University Hospital on Wednesday.

Gardaí went to the scene on the northside of Cork city and found the body of a man in his 50s inside the property.

The body of the 49-year-old was found in a property in the Ravenswood estate on Monday morning by family members.

The body of the man was found in the early hours of Wednesday.

A post-mortem examination will be arranged and gardaí in Bandon are investigating.

A post-mortem is to be carried out on the body at University Hospital Limerick later on Wednesday. 

Gardaí and emergency services responded to a report of a man in his 60s found unresponsive at a home on Harbour View Drive.

The man’s body has since been removed from the water and the coroner has been notified.

A man in his late 40s was found inside the property and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Gardaí say they are investigating all circumstances surrounding the discovery in the Clonattin area of Gorey shortly before midday on Sunday.

The body remains at the scene which is preserved for a technical examination which is due to take place on Sunday morning.

Gardaí were alerted to the body at approximately 7.50am in Dunsinare, Monaghan Town on Wednesday morning.

The body remains at the scene.

Gardaí are continuing to appeal to anyone who may have information to contact them.

The house was sealed off and a full investigation has been launched into the discovery of the remains.
