The decision came during High Court proceedings which saw Mr Burke and members of his family removed by gardai due to disruption.

Mr Burke had sought a temporary injunction against a Disciplinary Appeals Panel reviewing his dismissal from a school.

The High Court was told on Wednesday that two members of the disciplinary appeals panel had resigned.

Mr Burke has been in jail since November for breaches of a court order directing him not to trespass at Wilson’s Hospital School where he worked.

A disciplinary appeals body has temporarily agreed not to take any further steps in reviewing the dismissal of Enoch Burke.

Mr Burke was brought before the High Court in Dublin on Wednesday.

A judge said Mr Burke ‘has the keys to his own prison’ and can be released if he purges his contempt.

Over the last three years, Enoch Burke has been jailed multiple times and racked up more than €225,000 in fines.

A judge at the High Court said fines and security measures at the school had failed to prevent Mr Burke from trespassing.

A judge is to decide next week whether Enoch Burke should be sent back to prison for contempt of court.

Mr Burke has previously been sent to prison for contempt of court following a dispute with Wilson’s Hospital School.

Enoch Burke represented himself in a High Court hearing on Wednesday, during which he accused a judge of ‘filibustering’.

Sean Burke, who is in his 60s, denies assaulting Garda Victoria Fisher in the Four Courts on March 7th last year.

Enoch Burke has started his third stint in prison.
