Tens of thousands are taking to the streets across the region for the traditional Orange Order parades on Saturday.

The incident occurred in Rasharkin hours ahead of a July 12th parade in the town.

Hundreds of Eleventh Night bonfires were lit across Northern Ireland on Friday.

Firefighters said they dealt with 72 bonfire-related incidents on Friday night.

The fire in Moygashel, Co Tyrone, was set alight on Thursday.

A Tricolour flag was also placed on the bonfire in Moygashel, on the outskirts of Dungannon.

Concerns have been raised over the bonfire, which is on a site which contains asbestos and is close to an electricity substation.

Tensions are continuing to smoulder around two loyalist bonfires in the North which have attracted significant controversy.

Belfast City Council has announced its intention to remove a bonfire close to an electricity substation in the city.

The display has been erected on the bonfire in Moygashel in Co Tyrone.

It is one of an estimated 300 bonfires set to be lit over July 10-11 ahead of the annual Orange Order marches on July 12th

NIE Networks have said mitigations will be put in place.

The election posters of Sinn Féin First Minister Michelle O’Neill and recently re-elected SDLP MP Claire Hanna appeared on a pyre.

The loyal order parades come after the burning of bonfires at hundreds of sites across the region as part of the annual festivities.
