Pilots at the airline will go on strike on Saturday, June 29th as part of their pay dispute

The action has been branded as ‘insidious’ by the airline, which is cancelling up to 20 per cent of flights over a five-day period

Pilots at Aer Lingus served notice to the airline of their intention to launch an indefinite work-to-rule from next Wednesday.

The airline’s pilots voted overwhelmingly for industrial action in a dispute over pay.

Turnout for the ballot was 89%.
