The Ukrainian president addressed the opening ceremony of Ireland’s EU presidency on Wednesday afternoon.

Micheál Martin’s visit is part of preparations for Ireland taking up the presidency of the EU Council in July.

Simon Harris met Emmanuel Macron at the Elysee Palace in Paris.

The meeting at the Élysée Palace comes ahead of the appointment of a new European Commission and the term of the new European Parliament.
