Two male drivers were conveyed to Beaumont Hospital for treatment of injuries after a crash on the M1 Junction 6 (Southbound) in Co Dublin.

The attack took place at approximately 6.30pm on Friday December 5th in Cappaghmore estate.

The assault occurred near Annesley Bridge, where gardaí and emergency services responded.

A man in his 40s remains in a critical condition in Beaumont Hospital after the attack.

A 19-year-old male cyclist who was injured in a collision on Sunday night, July 27th, on the R113, Fonthill Road South, Clondalkin, Dublin 22, has also died. 

The cyclist, a man in his late teens, is in Beaumont Hospital in a critical condition.

The incident happened on Sean McDermott Street, Dublin 1, at approximately 10 pm.

He was brought to Tallaght University Hospital and subsequently transferred to Beaumont Hospital where his condition is described as critical.

The incident happened at a property in Darndale, Dublin 17 at approximately 2:45 pm.
