Flogas has become the latest energy company to announce it will reduce its prices

Customers to benefit from 7.5% reduction in electricity and 5% in gas from March 1st

Bord Gáis Energy is cutting its unit rate of electricity by 10 per cent and its gas by 9.5 per cent from February 29th.

Electricity and gas rates will fall by 8 and 7 per cent respectively

There has been a 12.8 per cent decrease in domestic electricity rates and 11.5 per cent decrease in domestic gas rates.

The moratorium for customers registered as being particularly vulnerable to winter disconnections will last from October to the end of March
