Overall spending for the month was up 9% compared to July 2023

Spend in pubs increased 10 per cent in the month, compared to a 12 per cent decrease in the month in May 2023.

Figures from the AIB Spend Trend show an 19 per cent increase on spending in bike shops, with car rental up by 16 per cent.
