The programme follows the case from Tina Satchwell's disappearance in 2017, through a cold-case breakthrough six years later, to the trial that ultimately brought her husband, Richard Satchwell, to justice. 

Virgin Media Television said it will be reviewing its public service broadcasting commitments.

Mr Byrne, who is the broadcaster's southern correspondent, has sued his employer, seeking various injunctions over what he claims is a flawed internal disciplinary process against him.
