David Druzinec, 29, was cross-examined on Thursday on his evidence about the assault in which his friend Josip Strok, 31, lost his life.

Mark Lee (44), of no fixed abode, and Anthony Delappe (19) of Melrose Avenue, Clondalkin have both pleaded not guilty to murder but guilty to the manslaughter of Josip Strok at Grangeview Way in Clondalkin on April 3, 2024

Seoirse Ó Dúnlaing SC told the jury that Josip Strok's status as a foreign national has relevance in the case of the three men accused of his murder.

On July 6th, Mark Lee, 43, who is of no fixed abode, became the third person charged with the murder of Mr Štrok.

Josip Štrok died from his injuries four days later, on April 3rd in Tallaght Hospital.

The man in his 40s, who was arrested on Thursday, has been charged and will appear in court on Friday.

The man, aged in his 40s, was questioned by gardai in Dublin.

The two men are due to appear before Blanchardstown District Court on Friday

Another man was seriously assaulted last month in Clondalkin.
