17-year-old Peter Byrne is understood to have been swimming with a friend when he got into difficulty in the river Barrow on Tuesday evening

The man, who was in his 60s, got into difficulty while in the water at Marameelan near Dungloe.

The alarm was raised just before 1pm on Saturday local time.
