Gardaí arrested two men after 20 kilograms of diamorphine and 37 kilograms of cocaine were recovered by Revenue officers in the county on Tuesday. 

This seizure was made as a result of a joint operation conducted by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB), Clondalkin District Drugs Unit and Revenue’s Customs Service.

Suspected cannabis, cocaine and ketamine were discovered within food packaging following a search in Newtownabbey.

One man, aged in his late 30s, was arrested and held ina Garda station in the Eastern Region.

Large quantities of suspected cannabis herbs, cocaine and MDMA, along with a sawn-off shotgun and ammunition, were seized.

\The seized drugs, totalling €236,600 will now be sent to Forensic Science Ireland.

Cannabis with an estimated value of €490,000 was seized.

Three designer watches and a luxury car were also seized at the property.
