The Food Safety Authority of Ireland has revealed it received almost 4,996 consumer complaints in 2024.

Overall, the 4,996 consumer complaints in 2024 represented a 13.7 per cent increase compared to the previous year, with 4,395 complaints.

Retailers are requested to remove the implicated batches from sale and display recall notices at point-of-sale.
