The charges relate to an incident in Londonderry on Thursday.

Two men have been charged with preparing terrorist acts and perverting the course of justice in connection with the attempted murder of John Caldwell.

The court heard that Alan Lundy made no reply to the accusations after being questioned for over seven hours.
